•   In most applications the work coil is positioned to the outside of the part along the perimeter of the bond line. In some instances, where geometry does not allow the work coil to be positioned to the outside of the part, the work coil is placed below the bond line, but still following the perimeter of the bond line.

•   The position of the work coil in relation to the bond line will determine the rate of heat at the bond line and the efficiency of the welding process.
