I want to move my system to another plant. How should I prepare it for shipment?
Applies to all systems – HD-500, EA-20, Tesla, Solid State

•   For HD-500 Systems:  If freezing may occur during shipment, flush entire system with anti-freeze. Remove the oscillator tube, 2 large Tank Capacitors, and smaller ceramic capacitor and put in original boxes. If original boxes are not available, wrap in foam, bubble wrap, and pack in peanuts to assure no damage will occur. Separate the press from the generator. Drain water/anti freeze from tank. Blow out all lines, coils, tank circuit, etc. Place wooden supports between press platen and base. Remove light curtains and pack separately. 

•   For EA-20 systems:  Remove the oscillator tubes and put in original boxes. If original boxes are not available, wrap in foam, bubble wrap, and pack in peanuts to assure no damage will occur. Remove the Tank Circuit and pack in foam for shipping. Separate the press from the generator. Drain water from tank. Blow out all lines, coils, tank circuit, etc. if freezing may occur during shipment. Place wooden supports between press platen and base. Remove light curtains and pack separately.

•   For Solid State Systems:  If freezing may occur during shipment, flush entire system with anti-freeze. Remove the generator, matching network(s), and Matching Network Controller(s) and put in original boxes. If original boxes are not available, wrap in foam and pack in peanuts to assure no damage will occur. Drain water/anti freeze from chiller tank. Blow out all lines, coils, tank circuit, etc. Place wooden supports between press platen and base. Remove light curtains and pack separately.
